The Client
The Mermaid Bar at the Prom Hotel in Great Yarmouth is a vibrant, welcoming space that has become a firm favourite with both locals and visitors alike. Known for its relaxed atmosphere, quality food offering, and excellent selection of drinks, the bar reflects the character and charm of the wider hotel experience.
The brand identity and visual direction for the project were created in collaboration with Metallicat Made, whose work helped establish a strong, contemporary look while retaining the bar’s approachable and community-driven feel. This provided a solid creative foundation for the digital presence.
Building on this, Chill Web Designs led the website design and development, crafting a clean, engaging and easy-to-navigate experience. The site was structured to clearly present key information such as menus, opening times, and the bar’s unique offering, while maintaining a warm and inviting tone throughout.
Alongside the digital work, professional photography was produced to showcase the space, food, and atmosphere of the Mermaid Bar. These visuals play a key role in bringing the experience to life online, helping to capture the essence of what makes the bar so popular.
The result is a cohesive and effective online presence that highlights the Mermaid Bar as a go-to destination on the seafront — appealing to both loyal locals and new visitors discovering Great Yarmouth.
